Order of Things

Do you ever wonder which way you should order your scenes or even sentences? 

Work things in this order:  

Emotion --> Thought --> Decision --> Action.  

This way your reader can first experience your character's emotion, then tell them what they are thinking and then show your character's divisive decision and subsequent action.
